Way up at the northpole.. Where it's 99 below
There's an old toy makers shop all nestled in the snow.
One day He visited an eskimo with a radio in his igloo.
And the old toy maker asked, "What's that catchy tune you're listening to?"
Why, it's country music Santa
From way down south you see
It comes here to the North Pole
From Nashville, Tennessee
Old Santa said, "I love it! And I know just what I'll get!"
So he bought a hundred albums and a great big stereo set!
Now Santas feet are tapping and they just can't seem to
stop,
Since he started playin country music in his shop.
And the elves all sing and work along with hammers, nails and saws
Makin toys for the girls and boys and helpin Santa Claus.
Now Santa's hooked on country and he listens night and day.
He even had an FM stereo put in his sleigh.
And he's had music on his flight since 1983.
With Waylin, Willie, Chris and John, George Jones and old Tom T.
He'll follow Rudolphs bright red nose up where the big jets fly.
He'll yodel like Will Carter as he zooms across the sky.
And this year when he brings those presents to your
Christmas tree
He'll sing with Micky, Merle and Ricky, Randy Hank and me!
