How could I have been so fortunate
As to have a friend like you
You picked me up when I was down
And helped me make it through
There were times when I was so destitute
My whole life was filled with doubt
You took me under your loving wing
So many times you have baled me out
I want you to know I love you friend
I hold you in the highest esteem
You have always been there for me
You always pushed me to the extreme
I want you to know when you need someone
That I will be there to be your friend
For we share a special friendship
One that I pray will never end
