Getting Older Sucks

I’ve reached a milestone in my life

I didn’t think I would achieve

I’ve reached, the senior citizen status

I still find it so hard to believe

Being sixty-four wasn’t all that bad

But there’s a plus to being sixty-five

Sure, I’m a another year older now

But I’m still breathing and alive

I’ve reached the top of Old Aged Mountain now

I can say I’ve reached the Great Divide

If the first sixty-five years, is like my next

I’m in for one hellofva ride

I’ll still take all my medications

There’ll be times I might forget

 And when I go outside shopping

Buying DEPENDS, is one thing that I must get

Being old isn’t all that bad

I’ll get the discounts at the stores

I’ll buy ointments for my aches and pains

And junk to clean out my aged pores

I might look OLD looking on the outside

But I am still young at heart

I’m still as hot and sexy as I ever was

No too shabby for an OLD FART!

SO GOODBYE TENSION,…HELLO PENSION

I can not wait to get my first check

I’ll buy Viagra by the truckloads

In hopes of something to resurrect

So I’ll accept ALL of your well wishes

As one day you all will see

You’ll wake up in the morning one day

AND YOU’LL BE AS OLD AS ME!
