Angels
![]()
Little blond girl, age of three
Curls that reached her back
Big blue eyes with silver stars
She always smiles back.
![]()
Loving mother, died before
Father not around
Alone she sits, patiently,
A whimper for a sound
![]()
Her tears
like falls of water
Dripping like the rain
She holds the picture in her palm
Hiding the worst pain
![]()
No one
notices the salty tears
Or hears her breaking heart
Knowing sadness way too soon,
Knowing the worst part
![]()
Her mommy
gone, her daddy left
She feels she might as well
Try to raise her hopes again
Equal to before she fell
![]()
Stars
glimmer all night long
She sees with open eyes
Feeling her whole painful past
Knowing of the lies
![]()
Though her
heart may know the truth,
A wish escapes her mind
One shell find out, doesnt work
Shell know this over time.
![]()
For now her
mind of only three
And past of maybe ten
She closes her eyes, very tight
And wishes over again
![]()
With an
opening blink, she sees,
A falling star pass by
Her wish could be answered soon
For falling stars dont lie.
![]()
The room is
suddenly still
Light floods on the floor.
Her heart pumps very hard
And the hope she stored.
![]()
A lovely figure forms fast
And in a second disappears.
Her tiny knees hit the floor
Followed by her tears.
![]()
So close she
came and yet so far.
She feels the unfairness too
Her heart jumped up and
shattered
Her life seems to be through.
![]()
But then
again, a light appeared.
Out of nowhere so it seems
A beautiful young woman comes
Her tears fall out in streams.
![]()
Holding out her loving arms,
The three-year-old runs for
She missed her mother very much
She missed this even more.
![]()
But, seconds
pass, away the light
She stands stiff as stone.
But, for reasons, far beyond belief
She doesnt feel alone.
![]()
Her
knowledge of pain, far from three
She understands all this.
Shell move on happier with her life,
But mother, shell still miss.
